Inhale. Fill up with breath and allow the belly to be soft and the chest to expand.
Exhale. Allow the belly to draw inward and the chest to release.
Taking deep breaths helps to calm and soothe the nervous system. Taking time to care for yourself is important. Psychotherapy provides a place to nurture yourself.
